It is with great pride and enthusiasm that the Federação Portuguesa de Columbofilia organizes the Mira 2026 International Pigeon Racing Championships, in partnership with the FCI, and with the support of the Municipality of Mira, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, and all sponsors.

In this special edition, eight high-level national and international competitions will be held, among which the World Championships, the European Championships, and the FCI Grand Prix Portugal stand out, bringing together participants and pigeons from various countries. Beyond the competition, the event will transform Mira into a true gathering and social hub for pigeon fanciers, their families, and all admirers of racing pigeons, promoting the sharing of experiences, friendship, and exchange among everyone involved in the sport.

The final race, scheduled for 26 September 2026, will be the highlight of this grand celebration of racing pigeons, reflecting months of preparation, dedication, and passion.
