Taking into consideration the weather conditions experienced throughout this week and the forecast for tomorrow, 26 September, the Board of the Federação Portuguesa de Columbofilia, in agreement with the Controller of the Fédération Colombophile Internationale (FCI), has decided to change the location of the Final Race of the Mira 2026 International Championships to Castro Verde.

The decision has been taken in order to adapt the race route to the weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, seeking to ensure the best possible conditions for the competition.

The change of release location complies with the parameters established by the FCI regulations and meets the minimum distance requirement.

The Federação Portuguesa de Columbofilia thanks all participants and everyone involved for their understanding and cooperation.
